Dear Parents
IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT FUTURE DISCOS
I'm sure that your children are all looking forward to the next school disco (Friday 15th October). It can be a fun evening for them, as well as a good way of raising funds for the school.
To help with the smooth running of this event, following discussions at a recent PTA meeting, we would like to clarify a few points:
- Tickets bought after the sale mornings will incur an extra handling charge of 50p per ticket. We will give you plenty of notice of the ticket sate dates, (Wednesday 6th October and Thursday 7th October). If you cannot make the morning yourself, please ask a friend to buy them for you! Please note that people who are off sick will not incur this charge.
- ONLY children currently at The Greville school may attend - if parents are helping we can not allow younger siblings on site, as they will not be covered by our insurance.
- Children are to EXIT via the designated exit ONLY. Adults will supervise this. Also note that children are to be collected by a person over 18.
- NO sweets or drinks are to be removed from the tuck shop. We have to ensure that the school is clean and tidy after the disco, so we have to restrict the areas to be cleaned.
- The schools GOLDEN RULES still apply: Be Safe. Listen to people. Look after property.
- If your child chooses to misbehave, they will get one verbal warning. If they continue to misbehave, the parents will be rung and asked to collect the child.
I hope you understand the need for this clarification and please explain this to your children, hopefully we will never experience any trouble.
The discos are organised by the P.T A and in the event of an accident, it would be the committee members who would be held responsible and accountable.
